ABOUT
Max Templin has been writing and performing music since the age of 13. After spending years in a pop-punk band known as "No Idea", Max decided to start a solo career as a singer-songwriter. Since his first two singles "Worthless" and "The Lightning", Max has continued to write, record, and perform original songs. He is known for his unique Ed Sheeran-like technique of using a loop station to perform live. The loop station records tracks on stage, allowing him to layer lead guitar, percussion, and vocal harmonies on top of his performance to sound similar to a full band. His favorite artists include Ed Sheeran, Passenger, X Ambassadors, A Day to Remember, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Max currently lives in the Milwaukee area and attends Marquette University where he is studying journalism and digital media. He is also a co-host of a weekly sports talk radio show through Marquette Radio. Despite a busy schedule, he still plays shows downtown and all around southeastern Wisconsin. Max's music has also made a presence on Marquette's campus. He is a two-time winner of Marquette's "Spotlight Talent Show" and has developed a strong bond with Marquette Radio. They have brought him on for several interviews and frequently play his music on their station. To listen to these interviews, click on the links below.
